Covid Guidelines

Our client's and artist's health and safety are very important to us. Below you will find Makeup ATX's guideline for clients and artists. 

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unpredictable time. 

 

General 

​

 If you are currently experiencing any of the following symptoms or have had any of these symptoms within the past 14 days, please call or email to reschedule your appointment. 

​

• temperature of 99.6 F or higher

• chills

• shortness of breath

• difficulty breathing

• muscle aches

• headaches

• diarrhea

• loss of taste or smell

​

If you have been exposed to someone recently, that has tested positive for covid, or if you have tested positive for covid, please call or email to reschedule your appointment.

 

Safety Guidelines -

 Makeup ATX Studio

• We require masks to be worn at all times by artist's and client's. If the client is receiving a makeup service, then they will be allowed to remove their mask. If the client is receiving a hair service - we require the mask to be worn by the client.

• Hand Sanitizer will be given to the client when they enter the studio.

• The artist will be using hand sanitizer/washing hands throughout the appointment.

• At this time - no guests are allowed in the studio. 

• The studio is cleaned thoroughly between each client. 

 

Makeup

All Brushes have been cleaned and ready for each client. All powder based products wiped down and, cream products have been sprayed with Isopropyl Alcohol 99% 

 

Hair Tools 

​

All hair tools, brushes, and accessories are cleaned and disinfected between clients.

On location

​

Client Guidelines

• All clients must provide a clean work space for each artists.

• Each client is required to wash their hands prior to the beginning of their appointment.

• Please be thoughtful of each artist's space and ensure that social distancing is in effect. The location must be big enough for the amount of services required while maintaining social distancing.

• Any client(s) experiencing symptoms mentioned above under "General" will not be serviced. If your artist(s) notices that a client(s) is visibly ill, they reserve the right to refuse the service(s).

Artist Guidelines 

• All artists are required to wear masks at all times.

• All artists must wash hands or use hand sanitizer in between clients. 

• Artists are to follow the guidelines mentioned above for makeup and hair tools.

• All artists will clean their area in between clients.
